For the last two years, I’ve done an ‘ask me anything’-style newsletter in August to coincide with my birthday. (Here’s last year’s edition and 2023’s installment.) Once again, I’m giving paid subscribers a chance to pose their burning questions.
What would you like to ask me (preferably relating to living small and/or sustainably)? Comment on this post with your questions before 8/12, and I’ll answer as many as I can in the 8/14 edition of LIVING SMALL.
Thank you so much for being a part of this community and supporting my work.
If you’ve been on the fence about subscribing, here’s a link for 20-percent off of an annual subscription (my gift to you):
If a paid subscription is not in the cards, Substack has a referral program. Just click the referral button below and share LIVING SMALL with anyone you think will enjoy the newsletter. When your friends use your referral link to subscribe (free or paid!), you’ll receive paid subscriber benefits.
If 3 friends sign up, you get a month of LIVING SMALL for free
If 5 friends sign up, you get a 3-month comp
If 10 friends sign up, you get a 3-month comp
If you’re a free subscriber, this is a way to access all the content, including the archive. If you’re an existing paying subscriber (for which I am eternally grateful!), then the comped subscription will be added on at the end of your current billing period, extending your subscription.
I read recently that you can clean your whole house in 1.5 hours… wow that’s impressive! I have a 2 year old and it feels like all I can do is to clean the kitchen nightly. Cleaning/housework wisdom is appreciated
Happy birthday!
Are there any “exceptions to the rule” for you? Something that you splurge/indulge in that goes against a more minimalist approach?
My home is modest with limited storage so that has helped over the years. But I keep wanting to do a next level paring down. Any advice?
